SMB Specialization Exam and Course Update
http://www.cisco.com/web/partners/program/speciali... As of October 1, 2008, your partners wishing to become SMB Specialized and Select Certified have the opportunity to learn about more Cisco products for SMB customers, as well as the Linksys by Cisco family of products.

To streamline the process while incorporating these products into courses and exams, partners are now able to become SMB Specialized with only one course and exam for each job role. Here is a summary of changes:

SMB Specialization and Select Certification Update

*Effective October 1, 2008, exams and courses for becoming SMB Specialized have been consolidated into a single course and exam for each role.
*The new exams are SMBAM exam (650-175) and SMBE exam (650-180). Prices for the new exams have increased from US$20 per exam to US$65.
*The courses that align to the new exams are SMB Solutions for Account Managers (AM) and SMB Solutions for Engineers v2.0 (EN).
*Exams and courses will be available in English on October 1, 2008, and translations, beginning with Japanese, will be made available over the months that follow.
